I uploaded photos of the new little dog while I drove him to the clinic yesterday and by that evening Waynetta had provided some names for him. After meeting him Kitty chose "Chewie." Waynetta had a dog named "Chewy," short for "Chewbacca," and I think this guy will make her proud.

The doctors looked at Chewie this morning and began treatment for an eye infection and upper respiratory infection. He'll be in isolation for awhile. Once he's cleared he'll be vaccinated for rabies and neutered. I look forward to him meeting the rest of the gang.
